About us

Ethics and Compliance

We believe that a strong and resilient company is built every day through responsible decisions, conduct aligned with our values, and clear rules.

Our corporate governance is based on the principles of fairness, passion, respect, integrity, safety and responsibility.

These values guide every decision and every activity of the company, helping to consolidate relationships of trust with customers, suppliers, business partners, institutions and all stakeholders. To give concrete implementation to these principles, Officine Ambrogio Melesi has adopted an integrated system of rules, procedures and tools aimed at promoting ethical behavior, preventing risks and ensuring sustainable business management.

In this section you will find the main documents that define our governance and compliance system.

The Code of Ethics

The Code of Ethics, consistent with our Values, Vision and Mission, sets out the ethical principles and values that guide our business and that we recognize and share.

It is essential that a company like ours, an Italian company that has relationships with customers all over the world, clearly define the principles, values and responsibilities that guide the way we operate and engage with the market, our local communities, our people and all our stakeholders. The synthesis of values and principles and responsibilities that have accompanied our history and that have been built through the evolution of our experience is what can be read in our Code of Ethics.

Officine Ambrogio Melesi believes that knowledge and compliance with the Code of Ethics by all those who collaborate with Officine Ambrogio Melesi are essential factors to ensure efficiency, reliability and excellence as well as transparency of activities and behaviors.

In order to ensure that our Code of Ethics is always observed, adequate information, prevention and control activities have been prepared; activities that are continuously monitored. The credibility and reputation of our behaviour are fundamental elements for us in our relationship with all our stakeholders and in the success of our Company.

Organization, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/2001

Legislative Decree 231/2001 regulates the administrative liability of Italian companies for crimes committed in their interest or advantage by individuals acting on their behalf or otherwise connected to the company.

Officine Ambrogio Melesi & C. S.r.l. has adopted an Organization, Management and Control Model in compliance with Legislative Decree 231/2001 to strengthen the internal control system, prevent the commission of the offences covered by the decree and promote a culture of compliance, integrity and responsibility, based on transparency, trust and ethics.

Whistleblowing

Officine Ambrogio Melesi & C. S.r.l. has established a whistleblowing system for receiving and managing reports of unlawful conduct or violations of the Code of Ethics, Model 231, company policies and applicable laws. The system ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower's identity and allows reports to be submitted anonymously, in accordance with applicable legislation and the Whistleblowing Policy.
